Regina Margherita Hotel

It was my first time in Cagliari, and I’ll definitely return. The location is ideal for walking to the main parts of town. For longer day trips, there’s a bus stop outside and another a few minutes away at the marina. The staff were friendly and professional throughout, the hotel was immaculately clean, and breakfast each morning was delicious with a good range. The bed felt a bit too hard to me, and the pillows were very flat, though those are personal preferences. There were far more positives, and I’d recommend the hotel.

We keep coming back because this is the place we like to use as our base. The staff are lovely, the food is marvellous, and breakfast is especially good. It’s a great hotel for the price.

There’s free parking, and the hotel is so central that most of town is easy to reach on foot. The rooms are spacious, with a great bed and bathroom, and breakfast was delicious.

The reception team really stood out. When I ran into a few personal issues, they stepped in calmly and effectively, and they were wonderful throughout. For our conference, the staff made setting up and organizing the food straightforward, even with all the changes we asked for. The hotel itself has recently been renovated, with elegant, comfortable rooms and interiors. It’s ideally placed for exploring Cagliari on foot, and the well-stocked bar has helpful, presentable staff. Breakfast was a treat, fresh and wholesome, with the occasional indulgent chocolate cake. The quality was so high for the price that I felt it should have cost much more. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
