The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, though once the fruit was gone, they didn't bring out more. We skipped the restaurant because the menu felt far too fancy for us. This was the second hotel booked for us on our Sardinia tour, and again, we wouldn't have picked it ourselves. It has a corporate feel, which isn't our thing, and feels very much geared toward business rather than a holiday. The location wasn't great either. It took about 20 minutes by bus to reach the city center, and working out the buses in Sardinia was complicated. Parking was a nightmare. The hotel's spaces are first come, first served, so you have to be quick, and nearby street spots can look usable but risk getting your car towed. We didn't even bother taking photos of the hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, though we could hear traffic at night with the window open. It didn't bother us. There's a bus stop 50 meters away, and you can get to Poetto beach comfortably if you don't mind taking the bus. Otherwise, I'd recommend renting a car. Two supermarkets are nearby as well. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the excellent restaurant. The staff were professional, positive, and happy to offer advice or help with anything. Our room was cleaned every day, too. We had a great stay at Sardegna Hotel in Cagliari.

We were lucky to be assigned this hotel while circumstances kept us waiting for a flight back to the UK. It turned out to be a gem. The urban, residential setting wasn't the best location, but it felt safe. The staff were polished and professional, attentive without getting in the way, and very supportive and helpful. Thank you for looking after us.

We were promised a cot in messages on our booking, but there wasn't one in the room when we arrived. Reception just shrugged and said we'd have to use the bed, even though our baby had never slept in one. That's unacceptable when I have proof the hotel agreed to provide a cot. The only offer was 50% off a future stay, which we definitely don't want. The rooms were small, there wasn't even a bottle of water, and the location felt quite ropey. This didn't feel like 4-star quality.

The restaurant menu had really tasty food, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were nice and helpful, and the hotel itself was excellent, with clean, comfortable rooms. :-)
