Cipresso e Pietra

Ali really knows the area. She booked dinners for us, handled a last-minute change, and set up a walking tour in Cortona and Montepulciano, plus a bike tour and wine tasting around Val D'Orcia. We spent three nights at Cipresso e Pietra, a lovely B&B among olive groves just outside Lucignano's city walls. The village is picturesque, with delicious food and breathtaking views. The place is beautifully decorated, with spacious rooms and a quiet patio. Ali and Jeff joined us for wine there on our first night. Three nights flew by, and I wish we could've stayed longer. Guess we'll have to come back!

A great luxury B&B for exploring Tuscany. The owners are lovely, the accommodation is 5 star, and there's even a gym. We stayed four nights, took day trips to different villages, and walked into town for dinner each evening. Highly recommend it!

Ali and Jeff pointed us toward some of the best things to do nearby. On their advice, we rode e-bikes through the countryside, joined a farm-to-table tour and dinner, and tasted some of Tuscany's best wine. We started the day with breakfast in the garden and wound down with wine from the B&B cellar. The rooms are beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and even a pillow menu for a good night's sleep. Cipresso e Pietra felt luxurious throughout, and the views and rooms were even better than the photos. A great spot if you want a lovely setting and hosts who know the area.

Ali was so helpful when we needed dinner reservations, and we'd definitely stay again. Cipresso e Pietra is just outside the city, but it's incredibly peaceful. We arrived to fresh juice and a tour of the property, and the rooms were all adorable and cozy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. With the shutters closed, our room was dark and quiet at night; open them and there's a nice breeze and a view of the fields. We didn't use the gym or wine cellar, though with a longer visit we would have. It'd also be lovely to come with several couples or family and have the whole place to yourselves.
