We ate at the restaurant three times, and every meal was delicious. Breakfast even included scrambled eggs made to order. We stayed two nights in a superior plus corner room, with a balcony overlooking the lake. The materials were top quality, and the remote controlled outside blinds could be raised, lowered, opened, or closed. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. From bed, I could open the blinds and see the lake from one window and the mountain from the other. We travel a lot in Europe and the US, and this was the best room and stay we’ve ever had. We came to explore Cagno and Revo, where my grandparents were from.

A great stop for bikers, with easy parking nearby. The staff are super friendly and speak excellent English. The view is absolutely beautiful, and both the coffee and ice cream are worth trying. Don’t miss the ice cream, it’s amazing!

The view is magnificent, but the service was horrible. The place was empty when we asked if we could have lunch on the terrace. For some reason the manager said coffee was allowed outside, but food had to be eaten inside. Five minutes later we asked to have lunch indoors, and the same person told us the kitchen was already closed, even though it was still 20 minutes to 2 p.m. and within their opening hours. So we didn’t get lunch, but at least the view was magnificent. Five stars to Mother Nature and one to the restaurant.

We sat outside with spritzers, watching the sunset over the lake and mountains. It was delightful. The hotel is lovely, the views are incredible, the restaurant food was really delicious, and all the staff were lovely too. Gratzie! 🫡
