Kaltern has everything that made our holiday relaxing: good food, lovely trails, vineyards, and the lake. The Tyroleans are so welcoming too.

The view was awesome, and so were the people and the price. Would recommend.

Such a lovely place to unwind, with what must be one of the nicest families in Kaltern. Grandma's cakes are the best, and everyone gives you such a warm, loving welcome. The view is wonderful too.

We've stayed here three times, and the covered motorcycle parking has been really handy for our tours. The guesthouse is perfectly placed for getting to all the famous mountain passes. It's family-run, friendly, and managed with heart. Last year, we were glad to find a pool as well. We'll be back.

Our apartment was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. The huge terrace looked out over Lake Kaltern, and the landlord was very friendly. You can arrange morning bread delivery, which is a good idea since there's no bakery nearby. You'll need a car, as the lake is about the only thing close by.
