Garni Gartenheim

After those fairly tough hikes, having the pool to relax in was such a nice change 😅. Breakfast was generous and had lots of variety. The hosts were very friendly while still giving us space, and cold drinks and coffee were available until late in the evening. Everything was very clean and tidy. Our Labrador was delighted too, and we were absolutely happy with our stay. We’ll definitely return to Gartenheim, and we’re already looking forward to seeing you again!

Katrin and Thomas Sinn are carrying on the family business with the same enthusiasm as the Sinn Sr. family. After 35 years, we came back, this time under the management of the Sinn Jr. family, and had a wonderful holiday with several generations of our family. We stayed in roomy guest rooms with balconies and great views, as well as a small but well-equipped holiday apartment at Garni Gartenheim. The hosts were easy to talk to and always happy to share useful tips, from affordable train and bus connections to outings that might be affected by the weather, plus the occasional restaurant suggestion. Their cheerfulness was contagious, and meeting them in the morning put us in a good mood. You could tell they really enjoyed helping guests feel comfortable. Even the youngest in our family got lots of affection, and Katrin, the guesthouse owner, gave us “secret gummy bears” every morning. It’s a small, charming and clean place, with the Penegal Mountains visible just outside. The cozy garden has a pool, whirlpool and well-kept lawn, with a wonderful view across to the Latemar mountain range. Breakfast was excellent and left us wanting for nothing.

The hosts were warm and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic, with good coffee too. Such a lovely garden and pool. Our room was quite spacious and looked out toward the Latemar. The bathroom seemed brand new and was spotless. We’ll definitely come back.

There really wasn’t anything to complain about, and we’d be happy to return. The host family was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel was clean with charming decor. Breakfast was generous, varied and delicious. We were satisfied with everything else too.
