Hotel Malga

It’s a quiet spot where you can relax and meditate, with a stunning view across the mountains and vineyard. The hotel was really nice, the staff were lovely, and we had a great time. I’ll definitely come back.

We stopped here for one night on the way from Germany to Italy, booking at the last minute. The service was great, and late check-in worked perfectly. The room was spacious, with modern bathroom and other facilities, and an amazing view. Every room has one, and the pool view is great too. Breakfast was good, with everything we needed, and a lovely view there as well.

The climb up to the hotel is tiring, and we didn’t try the breakfast. Still, we’re really enjoying our first stay here. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, with modern furnishings and all the necessary appliances. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils. We could park right in front of the apartment, which was convenient. Every room has a panoramic window, so you can watch the sunrise from bed without anything in the way. The view is simply amazing. The pool wasn’t heated as described, but with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius every day, we didn’t miss that. All in all, we highly recommend it.

Kaltern is a nice place to visit, and this could work for a short stay. The location is beautiful, the hotel is modern, and the rooms look out over the valley with nothing blocking the view. But I wouldn’t recommend it as a wellness hotel. Some furnishings seem like corners were cut. The shower water was lukewarm, the pool quite cold, and the sauna only opened for a short time in the evenings. The rooftop whirlpool was dirty and out of order. It gave me the impression the owners may have been surprised by the operating costs and were trying to reduce them.
