We stayed in the “Golden Delicious” apartment and loved having direct access to the garden. It was large and comfortable, with very comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and clean, bright bathrooms. The garden is beautifully kept, with a pool, sauna, and a place to sit together over local wine. Our car had a space in the underground garage, with a lift up to the room. And there’s more. Good restaurants are within walking distance, the local shop is 600 meters away, though the walk back is uphill, and Kaltern’s center is three minutes away by car. It’s walkable too, and Kaltern is beautiful. We got admission to the lake bathing area, lido Gretl am See, plus public transport tickets that also covered some mountain cablecars. The hosts offer local wine and apple juice. A really GREAT place in Southern Tyrol. I highly recommend Prunarhof, it’ll delight you!

The view takes in the mountains, the village, and Lake Kaltern, and it’s stunning. There’s underground parking, a covered terrace, and a big garden pool. An excellent village inn is just a three-minute walk away, while village shops are easy to reach by car. A beautiful holiday apartment.

We loved spending time on the terrace, with coffee in the morning or a glass of delicious house wine in the evening. The view is just as lovely from the heated pool, which we really enjoyed swimming in. We were also happy to find the morning post waiting at our door, with excursion tips and a tasty recipe. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, and the garage has a lift that takes you to the apartment. We had a spacious, clean apartment in the Apple House and were completely satisfied. We’ll definitely come back.

That heated pool was wonderful. We used it often and enjoyed it so much. The guest card was another big plus, with free buses, cable cars, and trains. The nearest bus stop is under a five-minute walk away. We stayed at the Prunerhof for 10 days in early September and felt right at home. The complex has a fantastic spot overlooking the valley and mountains. Our apartment layout worked very well, with two roomy bedrooms, each with a modern bathroom, and plenty of room in the bedrooms and wardrobes for hanging and storing clothes. There’s an underground garage for cars and bikes, and the hosts are very friendly. Guests can help themselves to wine and apple juice from the wine fridge. It was a perfect holiday for us.
