Peter seemed rushed, and sadly that showed in the service. He came across as unfriendly, which was disappointing.

We stopped by for the terrace and had a nice cold beer. The waterside is lovely, with plenty to do, including paddle boating and stand-up paddling.

The village sits on the local wine route. At the hotel, the food is top-notch, with a local mix of Italian and Tirolean (Austrian) cuisine. It's a wonderful family-run place, with luxury facilities that are managed like clockwork, and kind, friendly staff.

The terrace facing the beautiful lake is overrun with birds. Poor things are fat from being overfed, and they can get aggressive, I tell you!! 😂 Also, with the service already being bad 😮, finding a broken cappuccino cup at a four-star hotel was a letdown. The ceramic edges where you drink were sharp.

The staff are kind, and the dishes are good and delicious. A very nice place near the beautiful lake of Kaltern, recommended for all kinds of people!
