This is a great campsite, with excellent pitches, careful upkeep, and excellent service. We especially liked the newly renovated toilet building in front of the campsite and the newly renovated toilets and showers by the pool. The other toilet building is older, but still great for smaller kids and always clean. They clean several times a day. It's always lovely to come back here, and we will for sure!

The location was great for the lake and Trento, and the pool, restaurant, and kids' club were decent. The market had very little choice, though there were good supermarkets a short distance away. A couple of the Animation staff could have put more effort into the evening disco, compared with other Animation teams we've seen on our travels in Italy. We stayed for seven nights during a two-month tour of Italy. The campsite was fine, if a little cramped at peak season when it was full. Even the roads felt tight for towing a caravan. I'm pretty sure we were the only non-Dutch people there, so it felt more like the Netherlands than Italy. The toilet and shower blocks were well looked after, but their cleaning schedule could be changed so they aren't closed during busy times. I understand this is a family site, and we had our own two kids with us, but Camping Mario felt too wild at night during high season. Large groups of kids ran and shouted around the campsite until midnight. More security patrols would help keep the peace for other campers.

The lake is within walking distance, and there was a nice pool area with enough beds. The small shop had breakfast items and other stuff, and the restaurant served good pizza. The hygiene buildings were nice and very clean. My only comment is that many pitches are really small, so finding a large one can be a puzzle. Be quick when reserving if you need a bigger spot.

I liked being able to wash my terrier in the dog shower. The place is clean and organized, but it's expensive and has lots of rules. I also had to wear a wet cloth wristband at all times so staff could identify me as a guest from a distance. The facilities were closed for cleaning at times when I would normally expect to use the bathrooms. There are good and bad things about it, as I said. Some people love this kind of place. If it sounds like your sort of place, enjoy. If not, there are others further down the street.

The campsite is in a beautiful spot by the lake, and the sanitary facilities were clean. A few small things could be improved with clearer instructions: at check-in, we had to ask for several things, like the Wi-Fi code, guest card, and sanitary-unit cleaning. The camp shop also opens at 5:30 pm, which feels too late. These seem like easy changes to make soon.
