Cesare and Annalisa make every visit feel like coming home. They're very kind and will do their best to meet any request, while still giving you plenty of space. The property is simple, warm, and right in the town center near the square. Our room was large and spotless, the memory foam mattresses were fantastic, and all the bathrooms worked properly. Breakfast is at the nicest, coolest café and pastry shop in town. For me, and for everyone who's recommended this place over the years, five stars really aren't enough. Thanks for everything, Cesare and Annalisa. I hope I can be back soon. 🙏

We had a really peaceful stay, and Mr. Cesare was incredibly friendly. The B&B is well placed for exploring Salento, though the town itself is very quiet. The rooms are great. The one thing we missed was fresh towels the next day. I'd still happily recommend it.

The room was immaculate and had every comfort, and there was always fruit, water, tea, and other things in the shared fridge. We were welcomed by Cesare and Anna Elisa with a drink when we arrived, and breakfast was wonderfully generous, including the legendary pasticciotti. Calimera is a handy base for visiting Salento. Cesare and Anna Elisa are always there if you need them, and it felt like we'd known them forever. We'll definitely return!

Cesare and his wife were so kind and helpful. Calimera sits conveniently between Lecce and Otranto, so getting to the beach in the morning or heading out for dinner and a visit to the main cities in the evening doesn't mean a long journey. I'd highly recommend staying here, and I'll be back.
