Pension Gurterhof

The garden and pool area were a real pleasure, with plenty of free loungers and apple orchards all around. We stayed in a lovely top-floor apartment in August 2025, and the mountain views were fantastic. It had comfortable wooden furniture and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, fridge, two-burner cooktop, and sink, though no oven. Breakfast was another highlight, especially the freshly made fruit salad. We had a wonderful holiday at the Gurterhof in Schenna and would gladly return. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

After our hikes, we loved spending the afternoon by the fantastic pool with an Aperol Spritz. The Kaufmann family made us feel so welcome, and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast outside came with a beautiful mountain view, fresh bread with nuts, and delicious apple juice. They brought the coffee and egg dishes right to our table. Our room was always very clean, the bathroom modern, and the balcony was a lovely place to unwind in the evening. Thank you so much!

The location was fantastic, too. Breakfast was delicious, and the Kaufmann family were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. We had a wonderful time at Gurterhof! 🍏 Highly recommended 👍🏼

The place was spotless, tidy, and as good as new, and the people there were kind and always willing to help. It’s one of the nicest B&Bs I’ve ever visited. We had a wonderful time. Thank you, and see you soon.
