Hotel Mariagrazia

We arrived around noon on August 14th after leaving early that morning, expecting to begin the two-week stay I’d booked in February 2024 for August 14th to 30th. The reservation had been confirmed by email and I’d paid a deposit. Instead, they sat us outside in the sun and said there was no room available because the place was fully booked. I explained that I had reserved months before and hadn’t come there on a whim. After about four hours waiting in the heat, the owner, irritated and quite unkind, offered us a basement room with a shared bathroom that smelled bad. It felt like being treated like cattle. When we declined, he showed us a document falsely saying the room wasn’t to our liking and asked me to sign it. Then he told us to leave, without looking for another option. Our planned holiday became a day of driving under the blazing August 14th sun. I strongly advise against staying here because of the owner’s lack of professionalism and immaturity. Hotel management isn’t for him.

The charming village of Calopezzati is near the sea, and the hotel itself was clean and lovely. The food was excellent, and you can tell hospitality really matters here. Thanks to the fantastic staff.

If you need a hotel that’s handy for the Palasele, this one is perfect.

Lunch and dinner were delicious, generous portions, and excellent. WiFi was very strong throughout the property, and the resort was spotless in both the shared spaces and our room. We spent two weeks at Hotel MariaGrazia in Calopezzati Marina on a deal from DTL Viaggi. The staff were friendly and attentive, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back next year.
