It felt like stepping back in time, a reminder of how our ancestors lived and gave thanks. The area is so peaceful and serene, with wide open skies and friendly faces.

We stayed as four adults in this splendid historic building. The apartment was clean and well kept, with an entrance hall, two bedrooms, a small bathroom, and a large room with a TV. The host was kind and helpful. The lack of air conditioning was uncomfortable in the high temperatures we had during those days. We understand the heritage authority doesn’t allow it in a historic building, but portable air conditioners in the rooms would be enough, since fans aren’t sufficient. There’s also plenty of space for a refrigerator, which would make the place perfect. The shower curtain was a disaster: with four adults using the bathroom, it flooded every time.

A great rural farmhouse, with comfortable rooms and scenery that feels one of a kind.
