B&B Al Centro Storico

Irene made breakfast to suit what we wanted, with homemade bread that was the best of our whole two-week trip, plus Christmas cookies, cannolo, and cake. She was so friendly and helpful, even driving with me to find the right parking spot, and her suggestions for day trips were useful. We stayed three nights in her B&B, in a newly renovated house. The beds were great, and despite the central location, our room was very quiet. I hope she has a room free if we make it back to Caltagirone!

Lovely host, clean rooms, and a great location with a view of Mt Etna.

Irene, the owner, and her husband are wonderful people. We were three couples traveling by motorbike, and they let us use their garage. We received a gift as well, and the breakfast had everything. The place was clean and fully supplied, right down to hand soap, intimate wash, shower gel, shampoo, and a hair dryer. We’ve rarely been shown such hospitality and courtesy. We’ll come back, and I really recommend it.

Irene and her husband, Davide, were kind and attentive, and Irene was quick to help whenever we needed something. We stayed in June 2024 as a family of six, including four children. The apartment had two bedrooms, each with a large full bathroom, plus a kitchen-living area. It was spotless, comfortable, and well ventilated on the second floor, arranged on three sides, so we didn’t need the air conditioning. There were TVs in both bedrooms and the kitchen. The location is very central, though the stairs make it inaccessible by car. A free parking lot is nearby, but you can’t count on finding a space. Self check-in worked well for us and the hosts. Highly recommended!
