The villa is full of antique furniture and beautiful decorations, and it’s all very well kept. Every detail felt right, and everything was remarkably clean. I stayed one night at Villa Jacona della Motta, a lovely late 19th-century villa surrounded by a large green space and citrus plantation. Roberta and her family were wonderful hosts. Roberta was especially kind and gave me great tips on places to eat and things to see in Caltagirone, which I really appreciated. My room was comfortable, warm, cozy, and equipped with everything I could need. Breakfast was great too, served in a lovely room filled with bright Sicilian sunshine. I’ll definitely return to Roberta's place if I’m back in Caltagirone.

The grounds are spectacular, and the rooms are palatial, with huge, comfortable sitting areas. What a beautiful place to stay while visiting Caltagirone! The proprietor was fantastic, accommodating, and helpful.

The villa sits in a green pocket of Caltagirone and offers a rare sense of stepping into another time. This historic UNESCO World Heritage Site is carefully maintained and managed, and it would suit all kinds of events.

We couldn't see the B&B. The owner welcomed us in the garden and explained that both rooms in the house were already booked for July.

It’s a striking, romantic historic place, and people often rent it for weddings or other major events. It does cost a lot, but I’d recommend it to anyone curious about having a different kind of experience.
