The nine-hole layout is bizarre, which is a pity because some of the holes among the 27 available are excellent. The tees and fairways really need an upgrade. For the prices charged, service could be better too. Someone senior should visit a top golf and spa resort in the UK or US, see how they treat guests, and bring that standard here. Still, it’s a quality resort.

The pool is magnificent, and the golf estate itself is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated, though, and I’d be wary of booking a room right under the roof. It gets very hot up there, and the air conditioning doesn’t cool things enough.

A great-value stay in a lovely setting. The staff were very helpful, and it’s an ideal spot for a relaxing weekend with golf and spa time.

The golf course is amazing, and I’d happily stay here again. The rooms are beautiful too, though meals at the restaurant and drinks are quite pricey.

We had a really enjoyable stay, and it was a lovely start to our family holiday. The setting and views are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are lovely.
