Florentia Hotel

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. It was horrible, disgusting, smelly, and felt like torture. The staff were disrespectful, and the food was really bad. I had specifically explained that I could not eat pork for religious reasons, yet they served me pork cutlets. The shower was so tiny that anyone bigger than an eight-year-old would struggle to fit. There was mold on the walls, under the bed, and in the shower. The mattresses were severely stained, the sheets poorly cleaned, and the extra mattress was moldy with nowhere to put it. We booked for four but got one double bed, one broken fold-out bed, and that extra mattress. There was an unfinished wall socket with wires hanging out, the door would not stay shut unless locked, and the air conditioning would not turn on and had been shoddily patched with tape in places. When we first arrived, we asked reception if they could fix some of the problems we had found, only a few of those listed here. The staff responded rudely and basically said they could not or would not do anything. The room is worse than an animal cage, and even cows in their cages live better than guests here. This hotel left me traumatized, and because of it I will never come to Italy. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We were in room 33, with a really big terrace furnished with beds, chairs, and a table, and a sea view. The bathroom was very small, but had everything you might need, and the AC worked well. The hotel is very close to the beach and has agreements with some private beaches. I recommend Stella, whose saltwater pool is handy when it’s windy. Breakfast was ok.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Florentia Hotel, and the service was great. Martina and the rest of the staff were very friendly and nice. It’s the best hotel in town, close to the beach. I totally recommend it.

Martina stood out among the staff. She communicated helpfully, offered a very fair price, took care of all our needs, and personally helped with pretty much everything, even arranging our next hotel. Far and beyond!
