Ristorante Il Girasole

The waits were endless. I went for a baptism, but it took as long as a wedding reception. There was an hour and a half between courses, then they brought out one small shared plate of grilled meat for four: one prime rib, one skewer and two pieces of lamb. Never again.

The food was delicious and cooked just right, and the service was excellent, with a very friendly and helpful team. It's a good choice for families with children. We'll definitely come back.

We booked for my grandmother's birthday. They asked us to wait five minutes because the supplier hadn't delivered the pappardelle. Half an hour later, an employee arrived by motorbike with the pasta in a backpack. The wild boar pappardelle was inedible, tough as plastic, and didn't seem to be wild boar. They wanted to charge us €30, even though we had brought the gluten-free pasta and dessert ourselves. The table area was a disaster too: wasps, cobwebs, doors with nearly broken glass, and LPG cylinders for the heaters within everyone's reach, where someone could get hurt. I wouldn't recommend eating here. I'd spend €10 more somewhere else and get a meal twice as good.

The food was delicious and good quality, but the waits took away from the meal. I'd give five stars for the food and one for the service, especially the kitchen, which averages out to three. The poor waiters try their best to come up with believable explanations.
