The pool was full of seaweed or something like it, and the food buffet was poor at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff wouldn’t change the sheets when we asked, and there was no service in English.

MareMonti became part of the trip for our Club Cuore & Cabrio's Il Cuore del Gargano tour, rather than just somewhere to sleep. The owner was attentive and genuinely pleased to host us, and from the start we felt like guests, not just customers. Its location made a comfortable, stress-free base for exploring the Gargano and reaching each stop on the tour. We also thought the value for money was truly excellent, with a rare balance of comfort, service, and price. Every evening we came back to a welcoming place and a smile. The food was top league, tasty, generous, and good quality, with seconds and even thirds. You can forget about dieting. We were glad we skipped the appetizers, or we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy lunch and dinner properly. The building is a little dated, but acceptable overall, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We’d go back.
