Primavera Hotel

Public transport for Venezia and the airport is right outside, so the location is convenient. The road noise made the room noisy, and the beds weren't comfortable. At the restaurant we ordered two pizzas, including one Sicilia, or something similar. It was extraordinarily salty and so bad we couldn't eat it. We told the person there, and she just thanked us.

We had a really good breakfast, and the restaurant served tasty food at very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was tidy and cleaned every day. For a Venice city break, it's a good place to stay if you'd rather avoid the crazy prices on the island. The accommodation was worth the money.

It's a lovely little hotel, and we had a great stay for two nights. The rooms have air conditioning, and the service was absolutely lovely. The bathrooms are shared, but we didn't mind that. Breakfast was simple but substantial, and the restaurant food looked great. A bus to the centre takes only 10 minutes and costs 3 euros. The hotel is by a highway, though with the window shut it wasn't loud at all. This is all you need, and a good choice over spending hundreds on an expensive hotel.

The staff were attentive and keen to help, but the hotel itself was dirty and badly in need of maintenance. The wifi barely worked, and some electrical sockets were broken or in awkward places. Hallway lights didn't work, or you had to walk through the dark to reach the switch. The shower curtain left the whole toilet area wet if you showered. On our first night, water came through the ceiling into our toilet from the room above. I don't recommend staying here.
