La torre di Morro

I paid in advance with Postepay for a two-night booking, but the reservation was canceled. It’s been about six months of asking for a refund and I still haven’t got it. The owner is dishonest, so be careful. I strongly advise against staying here.

The manager really does care about his guests, and we had a good time apart from one major letdown: despite asking, we couldn’t get a savory breakfast. I think I’d come back, though. We spent four nights at Torre di Morro while touring the Marche region, and the owner paid attention to our needs and tried to sort out problems. It’s outside Camerino, handy if you have a car, though parking can be a bit of a hassle. There are three rooms and two bathrooms, with one shared by the rooms upstairs. The first-floor double room has its own bathroom and air conditioning. Downstairs there’s a living room and kitchen. Breakfast is coffee from a machine with espresso pods, plus supermarket snacks like tarts, muffins, and pastries. The kitchen has dishes and an oven for heating things up. Cleaning wasn’t done every day; we had to ask, and they changed rooms on the second day.

The owner was kind, courteous, and quick to respond, and he went out of his way to meet everything I needed. I can’t thank him enough. I urgently needed somewhere to sleep while my father was in Camerino hospital for surgery, and luckily found La Torre del Morro just steps away. The room and the surrounding areas were very clean. There’s air conditioning, a heat pump, and a TV in the room, and the bathroom has a tub and shower. I highly recommend it if you ever need a place nearby.

We had a great stay for one night on August 14, 2022. It was my partner, her daughter, and me. The property was clean, the service excellent, and the owner very kind. I recommend it.
