Playavillage Calipso

It’s a small village with a nice pool. The apartment was accessible and comfortable, though the furnishings were basic and there was no shower beside the toilet. The way down to the beach is fairly steep.

Dogs belonging to other holidaymakers barked all day. The restaurant is very expensive. The pool hours are limited, 9:30-12:30 and 16:40-18:30. The hot tub is only available on request, for five minutes.

The private beach is the standout, with a gorgeous sea, hot and cold showers right by the apartments, and parking on site. It’s a small, welcoming resort laid out like a residence, with spacious, beautiful apartments and a pleasant, well-kept setting. The entertainment is very good, and there’s a bar and restaurant on site. My one small gripe is that some apartment furniture could use replacing. I’d recommend it and will definitely come back. We had two dream weeks here and I’ll definitely return next year. It’s a unique, quiet, safe, beautiful place with great value, right by the gorgeous sea. The small beach is well maintained, with a beach volleyball court and a gazebo guests can request for dinner in the evening. It’s set up for families with young and growing kids. Apartments are basic but comfortable, with TV and Wi-Fi. The bar and restaurant serve good food at reasonable prices and put on themed evenings. There’s a well-kept pool, playground, parking, and video surveillance. The entertainment is excellent, involving without being intrusive, and the kids are very well mannered. The staff are exemplary, such lovely people.
