The path starts in the little square by its beautiful church, then follows a panoramic road past colorful houses, gardens, dry-stone walls, and Mediterranean plants. Along the way there are roses, jasmine, rosemary, and all sorts of other natural scents. The sea and sky seem to run together in the distance, while yachts, boats, and ferries carry tourists toward San Fruttoso and Portofino. There’s also a charming bar with tables looking over the gulf. The Ruta di Camogli is a beautiful promenade with a full 360-degree sea view and a clear sight of Punta Chiappa. You can reach it by sea or climb the picturesque steps, which are a bit tiring but manageable. Camogli itself is quaint and lovely, but this time I wanted to talk about the route. And then there are those colorful houses, so typical of our beautiful Liguria.
