Casetta del Marinaio

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The owner treated us like friends, and her knowledge of the area and nearby places was invaluable. She was wonderful to deal with, and nothing felt like too much trouble. We’ll definitely return.

That terrace is something else, with a stunning outlook and position. Becci, Rugge, and the family made us feel so welcome, and they were kind and helpful throughout. The living space is beautifully decorated and very clean, with plenty of room. There’s a small kitchenette with everything except a cooker, and a supermarket down some steps across the road. Camogli itself is wonderful, more attractive than any of the Cinque Terre villages to us, with great bars and restaurants. Genoa and other parts of the coast are easy to reach by train. This is much more than a B&B. We can’t recommend Casetta del Marinaio highly enough. Thanks again to Becci for the warm hospitality. Rog&Mel

We spent six lovely days here, with friendly welcomes from Becci, Rugge, and the family. The location was amazing: we walked through the hills to Portofino, took the train easily to Genoa and the Cinque Terre, and enjoyed evenings in Camogli, about a five-minute walk away. The place was nicely furnished and decorated, and the patio is stunning. We’ll certainly return.

The Rizzo family were so friendly and accommodating, always checking that everything was to my liking. I had everything I needed for breakfast, and cafes and restaurants along the coast are about a 10-15 minute walk, depending on your pace. I loved my stay at Casetta Del Marinaio in Camogli. The view really fills your soul, and the location is so convenient. I’ll make this my first choice when I book my next trip to Camogli.
