Hotel Bisenzio

The bed was really uncomfortable during my stay, and the bathroom water smelled unpleasant. Still, the room was spacious and clean, and it wasn't especially noisy despite being right off the road. The location is strategic, parking is convenient, and breakfast was good, with yogurt and cereal.

Mr. Francesco, the owner, was very kind. I booked for the first weekend in July, and he didn't ask for payment in advance. My wife and I are sure to have a peaceful, relaxing weekend 😘.

The sheets were the worst part. When we finally checked them and the mattress cover, we found stains in all sorts of colors. Staff came in to tidy the room but didn't change them. We were left itching even after showering, and the bed itself was extremely uncomfortable. We had requested a double bed but got two beds pushed together, and the room didn't really match the photos. When we raised the issue, the reply was, “Guys, what can I say? You should have told us before,” as though checking the bedding was our responsibility. The cleanliness was nowhere near acceptable. I won't stay here again. I hope the feedback helps the hotel improve, because right now it falls far short.

A good deal for a three-star hotel, with a handy spot near the highway. The room was warm, comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the reception staff were kind and very helpful.
