The apartment was stunning, with high ceilings, comfy beds, and shutters that kept the sunlight out while we slept. There’s a pool and lots of lovely plants and flowers, too. It’s close to Verturina Terme town, with a supermarket you can walk to on flat ground. We also took the back route to Villa Mussio one day, which was gorgeous, and picked some wild rosemary from a big bush. Sergo and his family are sweet, kind, helpful, and funny. We felt so welcome during our three night stay for a nearby wedding. They helped my Dad get some clothes ready for the wedding, and even gave us a lift to the venue one evening when our taxi didn’t show. That was a huge help. We really enjoyed our stay in this Tuscan gem 😊

The owners are friendly, and the pool and surroundings are lovely. Clean sheets and towels are provided. The rooms and kitchen appliances could be cleaner, and some appliances probably need replacing. It’s an authentic place where you can really feel the spirit of Italy and Tuscany.

We had a great time, and the place was clean. We just needed somewhere to stay for two nights. The studio apartment felt warm and welcoming, with a big fireplace we didn’t use since it wasn’t especially cold, even on All Saints’ Day. It had all the basics, including a kitchenette, refrigerator, and hairdryer, though the overall feel was dated and a bit neglected. The front door was hard to open and close, the curtains wouldn’t slide, and the bathroom fixtures were worn. The setting is charming, with a house surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards.
