Hotel Ramon

We absolutely loved our March stay at Hotel Ramon. The spa is well worth using. You get complete privacy for your booked time, which was much appreciated when we were tired. Our friends were staying at a 5* hotel and came to use our hotel’s spa because theirs was useless. The location was perfect, breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The friendly staff were always happy to help and to pour us a drink in the evening after skiing. I’d highly recommend it. Thanks again for such a great experience, see you next year! Magdalena

We paid about 290€ a night with breakfast, and the hotel was far too expensive for what it offered. The mattresses were very bad. Breakfast was a tiny selection of rolls, bread, cheese, sausage, and similar things. Some staff were extremely incompetent and rude. Every morning we had to go into the kitchen to ask for an egg or coffee, as almost nobody came to our table on their own. The sauna costs 20€ per person per hour. It was the only hotel available for our travel dates, but Campitello has many nice places with better facilities and much friendlier service. At this hotel, you pay quite a lot and get very poor service. I hope they improve these conditions and teach the staff some service skills so the business can keep running. For around 300€ a night, based on German, Swiss, or Austrian standards, I regularly stay in 4 star wellness hotels with a generous breakfast, sophisticated facilities, a high-quality dinner, and above all, nice staff I’m happy to tip 50€ here and there.

The mountain views from the rooms make a lovely place to unwind after skiing, and the bar is there for a relaxed stop too. Hotel Ramon is just a short walk from the lift for the Sella Ronda, which makes it especially handy for a ski trip. The staff are warm and attentive, and the cosy Alpine feel adds to the welcome. A great base in the Dolomites.

We loved the little wellness area, which was cosy and relaxing even though it’s small. Dinner was generous and delicious, and breakfast had plenty of fresh local products. The beds were really comfortable, and the balconies looked out onto an amazing view. With friendly staff and the cable car to Col Rodella only a few metres away, we’d happily stay here again on our next trip to Val di Fassa.
