Residence Elite

The staff made us feel very welcome, and staying here felt like being at home. We had a wonderful 5 days at Residence Elite in Marina di Campo Elba, and we’re planning to come back on a future trip to Elba. Our room was huge, with a well-equipped kitchen for making lunch and dinner, and the facilities were great. It’s easy to walk into town in the evening or stroll to the beach during the day. We could also drive to nearby Cavoli beach, arguably the best beach in Elba. Grazie mille Elite Residence!

An easygoing, pleasant place.

If you want comfortable accommodation in a good spot for exploring the island, this place works well. The studios are roomy and have what you need, though they’re dated and have an 1980s feel. There’s no air conditioning, as stated when we booked, but in September we had a lovely stay without it. The bathroom has no window. The staff weren’t very helpful, and I wouldn’t suggest paying extra for breakfast or lunch. The location is excellent and peaceful, with the town center and Riva di Campo beach both about 5 minutes away. Conad is right next door. There’s plenty on site too: a pool, tennis court, foosball table, children’s area, dog park, outdoor fitness area, parking, and barbecue. If you’re after modern rooms and lots of pampering, this probably won’t suit you.

We had a week here in August and found it cozy and well placed, close to both the beach and the center. The residence is dated, but it suited a holiday, and the staff were friendly. There’s no air conditioning, though the apartment stays comfortable because it’s always breezy. We’ll come back and would recommend it, as long as you can adapt and aren’t expecting too much! 😊
