This was our second year staying here. The apartments are cozy, very clean, and stocked with what you might need. A shop and bakery are across the street, and there’s a really cozy Caffe on the building’s first floor for breakfast, coffee, cocktails, or dessert. The bus station is just ten metres away, handy for getting around South Tyrol.

We got the same apartment as last year, and it had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The kettle was spotless, though I did miss having a grater for grana padano cheese. There’s also a balcony, useful if you smoke, plus a lift, a ski storage room for skis and boots, and plenty of parking. The family looked after us from the start and clearly thought of everything to make guests comfortable. There’s a restaurant where you can get breakfast and plenty of cakes. A bakery is right in front, with a Coop shop almost next door. A few minutes’ walk in the direction opposite Bruneck takes you to a much bigger supermarket, where I bought lots of goodies for my family and friends. There’s an optician and a shoe shop there too. You get a guest pass for buses and trains. Last year it also covered free museum visits, but sadly they’ve stopped that.
