The apartment was warm, beautiful, and in excellent shape, with everything we needed. Its mini pool in the middle of the room and the sauna made it easy to switch off completely. We came for a couple of days of rest, and the welcoming, helpful owner made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. We’d love to come back soon, highly recommended.

We enjoyed every minute, though our stay was much too short. The apartment feels cozy and homelike, while still being special and furnished in a very luxurious way. The modern design has lots of thoughtful details, and the amenities had everything we could want. Many thanks to the hosts, we’ll definitely be back.

The owners made us feel at home with such a special welcome, and they were great about responding to our requests. We had a wonderful stay in one of the apartments. It was modern, spotless, and had every comfort. We hope to return soon.

An extremely negative experience. After we’d travelled about 1,000 km, we were told on arrival that they hadn’t realized we were coming, even though I’d called three days earlier to confirm. They said they could put us in the only apartment still available, but only for three days. I ended up changing hotels three times over eight days just to take this vacation, with my mother, who is nearly 80, having to come along. Mrs. Ursula said I wouldn’t need to pay for the one night in the makeshift apartment because the mistake was theirs. Two months later, Mr. Hermann was demanding payment for the invoice. I’m speechless. Never again. Let’s look at the false statements in Hermann Plaickner’s account. 1. Hermann Plaickner claims he sent me a confirmation email and requested a 30% deposit, which I never paid. He also says I called to cancel 10 days before arrival and would have owed a cancellation fee, but that he didn’t charge me. Question: Have you ever had a host’s manager book and hold an apartment for you during a busy period without collecting a deposit? And if the deposit wasn’t paid, why would a cancellation fee have been due? 2. Hermann Plaickner says he offered me the only week available at the end of August, but that I preferred an earlier date and didn’t seem sure about booking then. He adds that I should have spoken with the doctor before deciding, but says they would have held the apartment for me. Question: If I didn’t seem certain about booking, hadn’t spoken to “the doctor” about whether to take the vacation, and hadn’t paid a deposit, why does Hermann Plaickner later claim he held the apartment for me? 3. Hermann Plaickner says I called on the evening of August 29th, the day I was meant to move in, to say I was arriving, and that he wasn’t expecting me for the reasons he had already given. Comment: By Hermann Plaickner’s account, I didn’t seem sure about booking, failed to pay the deposit he supposedly asked for twice, was bringing my eighty-year-old mother after serious health problems, and still turned up on the evening of the 29th without notifying me!!! Question: Do you believe that? 4. Hermann Plaickner says that after all this I hadn’t paid the invoice, ignored all the reminders, and only paid after three months because I’d even lost my IBAN. Note: According to this story, I hadn’t booked, hadn’t paid the deposit, and only showed up shortly before arrival. So I was supposedly unclear, rude, and extremely unreliable. Yet Hermann Plaickner let me into the apartment without asking for either the 30% deposit or the remaining 70%, which his La Vie Deluxe website says must be paid on arrival or guests can’t occupy the apartment!!! Question: Do you believe that? What can I say? Thank you, Hermann.
