Kartibubbo Club Residence

It's hard to find somewhere to eat, and the supermarket isn't much of one. The pool shuts for two hours over lunch, too. The place needs a proper tidy-up and a fresh coat of paint. They could do better, and I won't be back 😐

A great spot for sunshine and beautiful beaches, with plenty of room for the whole family to relax.

We stayed for the first week of August with the whole family, two adults, a boy, and a girl, and none of us wanted to leave. I already knew Kartibubbo, but after this trip I call it Kartibello, or really, Kartibellissimo. It's well suited to families and groups of young people, and we'll be back next summer. There's so much to do: three pools for different ages and needs, tennis courts, soccer fields, and a well-equipped beach with clear water, a great view of the lighthouse, and sunsets you don't want to miss. There are restaurants, bars, and a mini market on site. The village is clean and well organized, and the beach is kept in great shape. The entertainment runs all day with 5^ Elemento Animazione. Mornings start on the beach with dancing, baby dance, and aperitif games. There's a mini club in the afternoon, then a lively central pool, followed by evening shows. Later, you can dance in the square or just sit and listen to good music with the entertainment team. Giulia especially stood out: a brilliant choreographer and wonderful dancer, and so friendly. It's just outside the quiet village of Torretta Granitola, less than 2 km away, with Tre Fontane about 4 km away and Mazara del Vallo about 10 km away. It's also a convenient base for excursions around western Sicily, including the islands. Highly recommended.
