Service was great and the hotel itself was really good. Its location didn’t suit me, though, since it’s a bit far from any town. It works fine if you’re happy spending time by the pool, but can feel isolated if sightseeing is your thing.

The hotel was a good place to unwind for a week. The pool was fabulous, we loved the little beach, and the gala night was lovely. The animation team did a very good job, and several people spoke good English. Luisa was particularly good at it. It’s a long way from shops, bars and everything else. We tried walking to the nearest beach but turned back because there were no pavements and it felt dangerous. One small hotel suggestion, the balcony doors need stickers. We walked into them twice, thinking they were open. All in all, we enjoyed a relaxing break.

The remote setting was just right for a relaxed, exclusive-feeling holiday. Our superior room was fantastic, with lots of space and a huge balcony. The staff were amazing, friendly and accommodating, and Cefalu, a beautiful town by day and night, was close enough for a visit. Hotel food was typically Italian, just right for Sicily. The pools and surrounding areas were perfect and clean. The beach is stony but good for exploring. I can’t praise the place enough for a peaceful getaway.

The pools were beautiful, the rooms clean and regularly serviced, and the friendly staff and animation team made the stay feel like five stars. Most guests were Italian and French, but we had no trouble communicating in English. We only had breakfast, which got repetitive, and the coffee was poor. There are 450 steps to the beach, which was mostly sandy with a meter or two of small rocks. We didn’t find the stones a problem, and the sea and mountain views were breathtaking. A family run cafe nearby offered a nice change and homemade pasta. Around the beach there are hotels and villas, plus some industrial buildings. There aren’t any shops close by, the nearest is 6 km away, so we had limited ways to get fruit or drinks. The bar doesn’t serve fruit, and beer is quite pricey. Still, I strongly recommend this place for couples and families.
