Agriturismo Mestroni

Patrizia was kind and quick to help with any request, and gave us the support we needed throughout our stay at the Mestroni farmhouse. The rooms are charming, carefully kept, and very clean. We felt so welcome and had such a good time that we're already looking forward to coming back. The warmth, helpful staff, and attention to detail really stood out.

The farmhouse is out in the countryside, but Udine is only a few minutes away, making it a handy base for exploring Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Our apartment had lovely exposed beams and tasteful furnishings. The property is newly built, and the hosts are lovely.

The area is quiet, and even the church bells weren't too loud. We stayed with our two small children and found the location good for getting around. The building is new and clean, though our second-floor apartment felt a little bare and could use some warmer touches. It had a kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave, and gas stove, but no electric kettle. The kitchen was adequate, although there was plenty of cutlery and it might be worth adding more in the future. Air conditioning is in the annex. Our view was of the courtyard and parking lot. The washing machine is in the building, not the apartment, and laundry needs to be arranged with the owner ahead of time. The instructions are in Italian, so the information about how to use it wasn't clear to us. There was no iron or ironing board either, and it would help to mention that on the booking form. The owners take out the trash daily. There's a beautiful church nearby, but it was closed when we wanted to visit.

Francesco and his mother were so helpful, and everything had been thought through. The apartment was brand new, cozy, and spotless. We'd definitely come back. 😊
