B&B da Franca

The view over the Italian villages in the mountains is beautiful. Most of the practical things you might need are here, including a microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, bidet, shower, and toilet. There's one double bed and one daybed. If you're heavy enough to press down the mattress, I wouldn't recommend sleeping on the daybed. The internet is very slow. If the owner can get a faster plan, they should; if this is the best speed available there, replacing the router might help. If the ISP doesn't allow that, another router could be connected as a client to theirs, since the current one doesn't seem to handle the load properly. The listing calls this a B&B, but while there's a bed, breakfast isn't provided. Google Maps and Booking.com say breakfast is offered, and Booking.com says it's included in the price. Sorting the rubbish is both a plus and a nuisance: it's separated, which is good, but the bin in the room isn't, so you have to sort everything by hand when throwing it away.

We had a very pleasant, relaxing stay. The B&B is clean and orderly, with accessible, well-equipped accommodation and a kitchen in perfect condition. There's also a barbecue and a garden with a pool. It's in a great spot for visiting natural and historical attractions, and Mrs. Enrica, the owner, is attentive, kind, and helpful.

The village is only a five-minute walk away, and there's a supermarket nearby that's very convenient. I spent five days relaxing in this house among the greenery, with its beautiful pool. The villa is very well cared for, including the garden, and the pool was clean.

Garfagnana is enchanting, with plenty to do in every season and lots of traditional delicacies to try. We stayed in a comfortable, quiet apartment at the property, which has a lovely swimming pool with panoramic views. Enrica, the owner, is open, friendly, and sociable, and we've formed a wonderful friendship with her.
