Agriturismo Malabaila

A local winery pointed us here, and we were glad they did. It's a lovely spot a little outside the village, with a pleasantly old fashioned feel. Everyone welcomed us warmly, and the generous, tasty food was classic piemontese cooking. We'd come back.

We were surprised in the best way. The room was beautifully decorated, and the tables were spacious and set well apart. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The portions were generous, too. Each main course came in its own little terracotta dish, so the four of us got to taste all four dishes we'd ordered. By then we were far too full to try dessert. We'll be back soon.

What a welcoming, lovely place. The dishes just keep getting better with each course. I'd happily come back and try it again.

We had a really nice Sunday lunch at Agriturismo Malabaila in Canale. The hillside setting is peaceful, the place is well cared for, and it has a genuine family feel. They serve local specialties made with quality ingredients, and each course was carefully prepared and went beautifully with the excellent local wines. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Good, authentic Piedmontese food makes this one worth returning to.
