We’ve been going regularly to Antonio Gallino’s winery for more than 30 years, and his wines have never let us down. Friends I invite to my house always appreciate them too. The Arneis, Nebbiolo, and Roero stand out, though all the other wines deserve a special mention.

“Wine is made from grapes” is the Monpissan winery’s mantra, and if you want sincere wines of excellent quality, this is the place to turn to. We’ve trusted them ourselves for 3 generations. The people there are kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

The wines were truly excellent, with something for every taste, from white and rosé to red and barrique, plus sparkling wines and the still, full-bodied Riserva. The tasting was a real highlight. There were bottles and magnums to choose from, and best of all, we could taste straight from the barrels and tanks. Taste here, taste there, and luckily they’d also prepared some really good refreshments. We were warmly welcomed into the cellar even though we hadn’t met before, and the care taken with precision and cleanliness stood out right away. Thanks to everyone. Highly recommend this winery, 5+ stars!
