We got plenty of useful tips from the kind hosts, including where to eat and how to sort out ski passes. The restaurants they recommended were all excellent. The little apartment was cozy, clean, and decorated in a mountain style, with a small terrace. It’s very close to the new Ciampac cable car.

The price was affordable, and the apartment felt welcoming and comfortable. It’s about 300 meters from the cable cars, with parking and a ski room. The manager can be a bit grumpy, but it’s nothing too serious.

The owner was kind, and the location is excellent, but the inside needs a lot of work. It’s very old, and hot water only came on when they switched on the boiler. We had to heat water on the gas and pour it into the tub. The heating ran only briefly and the place stayed cold. A mat by the entrance would also help keep snow and mess from getting into the room. It’s a shame to have such a valuable place and not know how to make use of it.

The place is clean and very functional, and it’s in a really handy location. It’s also welcoming to dogs, so it worked well for letting our four-legged friend roam around the mountains in this lovely area. I’d recommend it to anyone travelling with a dog.
