The ski bus stop is right across the road, and line 4 gets to Alba-Ciampac in 7-10 minutes via Penia's center. We also found it easy to walk downhill to Funivia Alba in 10-15 minutes. Canazei is a 45-60 minute walk, about 3.5 km, or you can take ski bus 1-2 from the main road. Restaurants are about a 15-minute walk away. We rented skis and used the deposit at San Paulo Sci Noleggio inside Alba station, and hope to return for Sellaronda. At Col Da La Vila, service was friendly and the rooms were cleaned well each day. Breakfast was a nice continental spread with a good coffee machine and soft drinks. Some vegetables and fruit would be a nice addition. There's a lift, ski room, sauna, which we didn't use, and free guest parking.

It was our first time vacationing in the Domomites, and we found a very hospitable mother and son hosting the guest house. Our rooms were clean and the food was very good. My friends and I would like to come back every year.

The room and bathroom were both large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were genuinely nice and helpful. It's also an easy walk to the lift.
