The pool area was a nice surprise: it has a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room, and was almost empty when I visited. I found it really relaxing. I only ended up here for one night because a booking mix-up left the hotel I’d been staying at for the rest of the week unavailable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the single room was good value for what I needed, since I had to leave early for my flight.

The room was roomier than we expected, very nice, and probably recently renovated. It was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and the beds made. The reception was friendly and helpful, and the other staff were very friendly too. The food was simple but adequate. When we arrived, the owner said we could unload our luggage and then park for free in the underground parking space. We had a very pleasant stay.

The property has a few amenities, including an indoor pool, sauna, restroom, games room, and small bowling alley, but my stay had several problems. The food was mediocre, and the single room was so tiny it hardly deserved the name, my storage room is bigger. The cleaning staff didn’t do the job properly, especially in the bathroom. When I arrived, the room hadn’t been cleaned, and I found scraps of paper and other signs of poor hygiene.

Canazei’s amenities are only minutes away, and the Sella and Pordoi passes are close by. The hotel is right in the heart of the Dolomites and has what you need for a family stay. There’s free parking, a bus stop, restaurants, and a supermarket just steps away.
