Hotel Aurora

The food was great, and the comfort and hospitality are hard to put into words. We spent a week skiing here with my wife and both wished we could stay longer. It's an easy walk to the Alba - Ciampac and Alba - Col Dei Rossi lifts, even in ski gear, and there's also a ski bus stop right by the hotel. A wonderful family runs the place, and I'd definitely like to return.

They even packed sandwiches for us to take along when we left, such a thoughtful gesture. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay at Hotel Aurora. We also loved the food and its good range of options. The location made it easy to explore the area. I had a wonderful time and would recommend Hotel Aurora to anyone after a warm, hospitable stay.

The ski bus stop is only steps away, and it's a two-minute ride or a ten-minute walk to the Ciampac Gondola. You can rent skis and leave them in a locker there, so you can walk in your own shoes each day. My husband and I stayed for a week of skiing, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, served by staff and owners Terry and Ugo, who were always happy to help. The husband-and-wife hosts were warm and welcoming. It's a 2-star hotel, but don't let that put you off.

The food was so good, I don't know who the chef is, but they deserve a Michelin star. We stayed a week, and the communication with staff before check-in was really pleasant. The rooms were clean, and the owners clearly care about the place. They're always around and sort out any problems. Why does this hotel only have two stars? It feels wrong! Thanks for one of our best vacations. Recommend it))
