The room looked nice, but the rest of the stay was a mess. The air conditioning didn’t work. We told the host, who said it was because there were four of us, two adults and two children, and nothing was fixed. With temperatures averaging 35 degrees, we couldn’t sleep either night. We’d booked for two adults and two children for two nights, but on arrival we were told the booking was for two adults only. We were charged an extra 130 euros for our children, aged 3 and 1, even though they slept in the same bed. The breakfast was at a bar five minutes away, and turned out to be just one croissant and one juice or coffee. After we’d already paid for the hotel, they still tried to charge us 5 euros. It felt like they were more interested in taking money from us than making us comfortable, especially once they realized we weren’t local and couldn’t speak Italian. I’d stay far away from this place.

Whenever work brings me from Piedmont to Canicattì, I stay at this B&B. Marcella is consistently kind and helpful, and the modern rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. There’s plenty of parking, with restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to walk out for dinner.

The location worked really well for us, about a 20-minute drive from the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi. What stood out most, though, was how impeccably clean everything was and how warmly Marcella welcomed us. She was helpful from the moment we met and stayed available throughout, sharing advice and useful information. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Even though I arrived very late from Catania airport, Marcella was there waiting for me. The B&B is only a few steps from the bus stop, which made getting there easy, and she had fruit and toast ready for me. The room was cared for and impeccably clean. Marcella’s welcome was extraordinary. Her kindness makes all the difference.
