Costanza A Trastevere

Costanza is the best, she had all the qualities you could want in a good host. The room was spotless, with nice furniture, a comfortable bed and good sheets. Breakfast was generous, and her advice was spot-on. I'm probably forgetting something, but everything was just perfect. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

The best thing about the place is its location, but I wouldn't book again. The photos don't match what we found. There are two apartments in the same building, on the third and fourth floors, and there's no elevator. The fourth-floor one is bigger but has only one bathroom, with a tiny square 50x50 cm shower tray. It has a hairdryer, though I'd bring your own. The bedrooms are very noisy, with a bar directly downstairs, and the windows don't block much of the sound. There's only one dish towel in the kitchen. The TV doesn't pick up any channels, though you can watch apps. Coffee capsules are provided, but I'd buy coffee there.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. The owners were helpful and kind, breakfast was good, and the location in Trastevere was excellent, just steps from Porta Portese. It was easy to get around on foot, and there are various transport options nearby. Driving isn't recommended, though there is a paid car park very close to the B&B. Everything was fine, from the room to the B&B overall. The bathroom wasn't the best, but it worked. We had a room with a shared bathroom. There is a third room with its own bathroom, but it was already occupied.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the place was clean, welcoming and very quiet. It's handy for public transport and just steps from the nightlife. The bed was comfortable, and I really appreciated being able to choose between two pillows. Good value for money, highly recommended.
