Peace and quiet here gave my mind and heart a chance to reset. The villa sits in a garden that feels like paradise, and they want you to feel at home. The rooms are spacious and lovely, with elegant, romantic furnishings. Everything is kept impeccably clean and seems arranged to make you feel cared for. Its location also works well for reaching the surrounding points of interest.

Med Café is right next to the property and serves a good breakfast. The accommodation itself is in a lovely, tastefully finished building, with a pleasant garden and a nice room in a place with just two rooms, so it stays very quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the price felt fair. A car is essential because it isn’t very close to things. The town is run-down and short on services and activities, so we mainly used the property as a place to stay while visiting Noto, Avola, and Syracuse. Recommended.

From here, we could visit the Val di Noto, hike to the Cavagrande lakes, or spend time by the sea along the Fontane Bianche coast. Syracuse is also about the same distance away. It’s a peaceful local retreat that works well for couples and families looking to relax.
