A house on the main street with a beautiful mezzanine and a lovely wood-and-glass staircase, but it feels like a missed opportunity. The glass-fronted mezzanine and the spacious layout are appealing, yet there isn't enough attention to detail or to guests staying more than one night. The owner is genuinely kind and quick to respond, so it's a shame these issues haven't been addressed. There are two bathrooms with no windows and a cheap, somewhat damaged shower curtain. The water heater sits at eye level, and the radiator brackets are in awkward, potentially dangerous spots. Getting to the single bed is very awkward for anyone over 1.30 m tall. There are picture hooks with no pictures, missing switch plates, and uncomfortable spring mattresses and pillows. There's no bedside table or outlet to charge a phone by the bed, and you have to get up to turn off the light. Lots of small things need fixing.

We were welcomed warmly and professionally by Alessia when we stayed with our family. The place was very clean and in an excellent location, with some great restaurants close by. Recommended. Grazia and Marcello
