Tenuta Moriano

Villa Tenuta Moriano was even better than we expected. It’s cozy and stylish, with a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere. The villa is well kept and beautifully decorated, the rooms were clean, and we had everything we needed. The pool and view were especially lovely. The friendly hosts were always ready to help, and you can tell they care about the place. It’s quiet and surrounded by nature, while still close to interesting spots. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

We’ve spent longer stays at Tenuta Moriano over the past couple of years, and we’ll keep coming back. The family is so kind, and the property is gorgeous. It’s a great base in the countryside for exploring the chianti areas. The sunsets are epic, and the low chlorine pool is nice for swimming if you don’t like chemicals. There’s a winery and tasting room on site, too. Their cabernet Tufesco is my favourite, delicious and worth another visit. They also have a wheelchair accessible apartment in the villa with easy access and a rolling shower. I’ll always remember their kindness and hospitality, and can’t wait to return in 2026!

We used this as a base to visit Pisa, Firenze, Bologna, Modena and Maranello. If you enjoy driving scenic roads, the views are top notch in every direction. The staff are lovely, and the apartments are cozy, with a beautiful, peaceful view in the morning. For once, the sound that woke me wasn’t cars or people, it was birds chirping. Truly relaxing. I recommend it!

Autumn was beautiful in this part of the countryside. We stayed three nights outside the main season and were happy with almost everything. I did tell the staff that the last stretch of road leading there was in terrible condition, though I guess it may improve. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’d like to come back.
