La Vecchia Torre

The owners made us feel completely looked after, almost as comfortable as at home. The place has a welcoming, distinctive feel, and the quiet setting and recently built building added to the stay too.

Breakfast was the last straw after we paid €80 for one night for three people. There were just two coffees, which we had to make ourselves on a pod machine left out on the terrace. No croissants or toast, and nowhere to sit, not even two chairs and a small table. The room was spacious, but its furniture was over thirty years old and electrical wires were left loose everywhere. The bathroom had the same kind of furnishings. Outside, the place looked run down, with farm equipment scattered about and old mattresses draped over the railings. Looking across the valley, we saw piles of old furniture, a dismantled Jeep, and rusty tractors. It felt like a junkyard. A terrible stay. I strongly advise against it.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and finished with a lot of care. Such a lovely, welcoming place, and the people were friendly. Excellent.

The owner was very kind, and the rooms are large and welcoming. It's a lovely place surrounded by greenery.
