Sweet Rome Apartment

The central location was convenient, near the Vatican and Ottaviano metro station, and the place was functional and basic. Everything else fell far short, so I do not recommend it. I contacted the managers but got no reply, and I'm sorry to have to write this. The property didn't meet expectations, especially given what I paid. It may have cost less than other places, but where I'm from we say we paid properly, not to have our money wasted or stained with someone else's sauce. Cleanliness was poor. The bathroom radiator leaked and some fixtures were a bit broken. The sofa was the most worn out of all: you couldn't sleep on it, it felt like a dog's bed, and its faux leather was dry, crumbling, and stuck to you. The kitchen area was just as disappointing. There were five beds but only four glasses, hardly any usable dishes, and an old scratched pan. The oven and microwave were filthy too. The property has somehow changed its name. It's no longer listed on Booking.com, and the same photos now appear at the same address under another name, Ad Maiora. Via della Giuliana 26 is still the location.
