Country House Nonna Rana

We spent three nights at Nonna Rana and enjoyed every minute. The hosts were friendly and helpful, with tips for all the questions we had. Our apartment was clean, warm, and comfortable. We hope to return and enjoy the place and its surroundings again.

The owners were so friendly and kind, and even suggested places for dinner. We had a great stay and will definitely come back. We used a Smartbox for our one-night visit. The property is meticulously cared for and surrounded by greenery, so it stays peaceful throughout the day. There’s parking, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a wellness area, as well as the rooms. Breakfast can be brought right to your room, which is really a mini-apartment.

A peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, and perfectly placed for visiting many beautiful places in Umbria or heading on toward Tuscany. The owners are so welcoming and kind. We had a wonderful time in the lovely, quiet wellness area, especially the outdoor hot tub. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I recommend it, and would almost certainly stay again.

The setting is beautiful and evocative, with a welcoming, refined, relaxing atmosphere that would suit a tasting or a restful holiday. I chose a liqueur tasting at Nonna Rana's Country House as a gift, and it turned into a special, carefully put-together aperitif. The owners make all the liqueurs themselves, and the quality is excellent. We tried L'Eclettico, L'Arrogante, and L'Ambizioso, each with its own distinct, surprising personality. A final homemade liqueur, intense yet balanced, rounded it off perfectly. The food pairings were thoughtful and brought out each liqueur without overpowering it. You can see the care, passion, and expertise in every detail. It’s an authentic, high-quality experience, and I’d recommend it as a gift or to anyone who loves artisanal products and places that stay with you. Definitely worth trying!
