B&B La Casetta

We loved our time here. It’s such a beautiful house, and the host was lovely. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Italy, I’d highly recommend it :)

I wouldn’t stay here again. I booked the “Tavernetta” partly because it had a washing machine, but when I opened the old, run-down machine, it was full of stagnant water. The owner said the previous guests must have left it that way and offered no solution. I’m not interested in whose fault it was. A property should be checked and in working order before each new guest arrives, whatever the price. The room itself was dark, smelled bad, maybe of smoke, and had flies everywhere. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bed hadn’t been made. The sheets were just folded on top of it. This might suit a teenager hanging out with friends, but it’s not acceptable for paying guests.

We found the property on Booking for the night of 31/12/2022. Since we have two medium-sized dogs, we called before booking even though the listing said pets were allowed. They told us a one-night stay wasn’t possible, despite it being available on Booking. Right after the call ended, they removed the availability. I found that dishonest, so I won’t try to book there again, and I’m telling others about this behavior.

We had two dogs and expected it might be hard to find somewhere that would take them, but Mrs. Grazia welcomed them without any fuss. She was very kind and lovely. The accommodation had every comfort, and I’d give it a 10 for how it was presented and how friendly everyone was. Nothing to complain about. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it.
